Lights, Camera, Action!!!

My actual photo shoot was fixed on Oct 24th but because of my foot injury I had to postphone it to Nov 2nd. Despite the fact, my foot is still on bandage. So I have to do without my high heels and all the action....

Appointment was @ 10 am. Surprising my ah lao woke up early probably cos he slept early the night before. We were ready to set off at ard 830am.
First stop is to full up our tummies...cos we wont have the chance to eat lunch till late.

We went to Yio Chu Kang for bf... I had a very satisfying bf...and my cup of "wake up" essence = KOPI!! that almost woke me up.
After bf...we proceed with our journey to the east.

Surprising traffic was quite smooth and we managed to reach the bridal shop around 945am. The make up artist had not arrived yet. So we waited inside the shop.

Ard 1015am , the make up artist, Irene arrived. We proceed to nxt door where the studio is.
The studio was a small room, with a small area as changing room and a mirror and some chairs for makeup and rest.

Irene first do up my makeup , as usual ,my single eyelids need some time to work on.
By the time I finished my first outfit and makeup , it was around 1120am.
Now is ah lao's turn. He's was simple, tidy up his brows , some foundation , lipgloss..and we are all set to go.

Sam, our photographer arrived ard 1145am. He took some time to set up ... we were deciding how to start the shoot because of my injured foot and I was wearing a short dress.
He had to take without my legs.

Surprising I didnt really need warm up to smile sweetly... perhaps its cos I had some experience when I had the makeover shoot in april. I was ready to smile and pose without difficulty. ;)

The first out fit was done very fast. So on to the next, a black one... I like the hairdo that Irene set for me...very stylo leh...hee...

Subsequent are quite fast.. time to go for outdoor shoot.
Cos of my foot, there are alot of things that I cannot do...so we gotta find some old buildings or gates etc..
we stopped by bras basah rd and found some old walls and gates...

Its q embrassed to stand in the middle of the road in ur gown and tak photos. Some cars pass by will slow down and see what we are doing ..haha..

We took a few photos there and then proceed to Fort Canning.
Took some nice photos there...here the photographer asked ah lao to do some stunts..
haha..running to catch the flowers that I threw at him..
we run towards each other into his arms lar...
I tik he must be cursing and swearing @ me...for making him run so many times to catch the flowers...haha... who cares!

ok..by the time we finished this..almost time to go liao..cos it started drizzling...
so end of photoshoot..actually its not as tiring as I imagine it to be...:)

Jap Restaurant @ Mohd Sultan

There is a newly opened Jap rest located @ UE Sq along the once happening Mohd Sultan Rd.
It has been a long long time since I went to that area.
During my 'young' days , I used to party there...Da Jie, Newsroom Bar..etc... The once happening stretch of pubs and discos is now quiet.

However, now what is happening there is not pubs but restaurants. Authentic Japanese , Korean, Italian, French restaurants where you can enjoy your quiet little dinner by the river.

We were actually having a gathering dinner with one of our ex-GE colleagues.
As usual, our F&B manager is always full of ideas to all the different and hard to find places in Singapore. But the places that he brings us is always good and delicious.

We did not order any main dishes..only some appetisers to accompany our drinks..
This is the first time I drank Choya. Its very nice...sweet and deadly...cos its so sweet and nice to drink that you don't know when to stop!
Easy to get a girl drunk on this...hee..

Okie..back to food... Sashimi is something not to be missing when you go to a jap rest.
The sashimi here is bagus! Fish is very fresh.
I already indicated that no "Spare" parts for our food...and guess what...I did not specify what kind of spare parts that I don't want...so our dear Yaw ordered something extraordinary as usual...

1) Look at this white hard looking thingy...can you guess what is this?
I bet you can't..not even when u put it in your mouth.
Its crunchy and tasteless...still dunno? They are chicken bones! Yucks..imagine chewing bones..
I feel like Rex now... ;p

2) This is the last thing that I would imagine i would ate...the 2nd thing that I was conned to eat after the chicken heart @ the yakitori rest @ Far East Plaza.
Looks like normal beef right... its Cow's TONGUE!!!
Puke!!!
But frankly speaking...its q delicious...tender and chewy..of course wat...you are chewing on some one's tongue!!!

The rest of the food are q normal and digestible...
mini prawns, tofu with salted fish and this is the most normal thing..that was ordered by Ah Huang... Chicken Balls with egg yolk...

Although not alot..but we had our fill eating and drinking...
Another makan trip accomplished! :)

My first attempt to make Tiramisu

This is my first time trying out Tiramisu... Actually this is a very easy recipe cos no baking is required.. I have not tried this till now is because it is not easy to find the main ingredient....Lady Fingers. Hey...this finger is not the finger that you are thinking abt... Its a kind of biscuit..in rectangular form..with sugar coating on top.. Not all supermarkets carry this...so have to really search for it. The rest of the ingredients are quite easy, whipping cream, liquor, coca powder, mascaporne cheese...

First, make the coffee for soaking the lady fingers. I was afraid that the biscuits would be over soaked and become too soggy...so only brushed a little with the coffee. Because of this..my Tiramisu did not have the coffee flavour..it was not soaked thoroughly.. that is #1 mistake..
Nxt, I think the liquor is not strong enough...should have added more.. The rest of the ingredients is to mix the whipping cream & cheese... look at the remains of the cheese mixture.

The fun part is the layering ...bottom layer biscuit followed by cheese mixture followed by cocoa powder. Then repeat the same process. Finally, put it in the fridge to cool... Here is the finished product...looks nice on the outside..but when I cut it, its too dry.. the biscuits were not wet with coffee & liqueur. I think not enough cocoa powder too.. sighhh...nevermind...first try is always testing... I will try it again the nxt time!

Rex

I was looking through my backup files for some documents and I came upon some old photos of my doggy Rex.

He was soooo cute when he was a puppy...Cannot imagine he is 2 years and 7 mths old!!
Time passes so fast...I can still imagine when he used to pee and poo around the kitchen.
I was so mad having to clean up his mess.
Then also when we came home from work, he will always bite the newspapers that we lay on the cage for him.

I was so angry that I wacked him!! Can you imagine coming home after a long day's work and you saw your kitchen in a complete mess?!! The best part was, after repeat scoldings and wacking on the butt, he still don't get the message. I totally gave up!!
That time, I dreaded when my hubby was working night shift..cos it meant that I will be the one clearing up the shit. haha...

As time passes, he is better. Then the nxt thing he did was to run into my kitchen toilet and tear up my toilet roll and bite my brushes! So we have to make sure that we close the door tightly.
He is really a smart little guy to be able to figure out how to push open the toilet door.

The next thing the smart alec did was to open his cage door. Normally when he did something wrong or noti, we will lock him in the cage. Guess wat, dunno when he learned how to open his cage! I was surprised when he managed to get out when I locked him in. I monitored his actions.
He hit on the ledge to the cage door with his paw and after repeated tries, he managed to open it!! Amazing right?!
haha...I really have to give in and kow tow to him man!

Now, this little puppy is no longer a puppy that I can hold with one arm.
But still..he is a little cute guy...I like him better now cos he is not as noti as b4 .
;)

All because of $$$$

Money can buy you a lot of things but it can also harm you.
Families are split because fighting over money. Mother and son can severe all ties, brothers and sisters can quarrel and husband & wife can divorce over money woes too....

Advice given by marriage councellors are true, couples should really do family planning and money planning. Any party in trouble should share the trouble out.
Not wait till something big explodes then it will be too late to salvage.

Even though all is done...but there will still be a shadow lingering over...
Depressing... always the one to give in and taken for granted. Does anyone really appreciate what I do???

An Affair to Malacca

5 July.... I arranged a secret rendezvous to Malacca...
On the surface its an official business trip but.................................. it was in fact a rendezvous with 2 of my darlings, Win & Ju....
You must be imagining...wah...so daring ah...go on rendezvous and further more with 2 leh!
How to cope rite?

Hiak hiak.... Don't you know I am the super Maria? Multi-task is what I am BEST at!

So what did we do? Aiyooo...weather was hot even though it rained on the way to Malacca.

My official business took only 30 min..and I'm done..so rendezvous began!! so happy!!!
Our first stop.... Jonka Street.... Meet up with Mr Assam Laksa and Ms Chendol..
Wah....Ms Chendol's Gula Melaka was sooooooo fragrant and SEDAP! never have i seen the gula melaka so thick... its like gravy man!

After the "meeting".. the 3 of us strolled along the street...
I really like quaint shop houses ...its like the olden Chinatown in Singapore.
road is very narrow...and shop houses are so old....I don't think you can find any of these in
Singapore.

Enough of walking..the weather was killing us...so HOT!!

so we decided to retreat back to the hotel and air con! took a nap...
cos we had another round in the evening... Mdm Perankan.

heehee...guess wat we had w
hen we went to Mdm Perankan?
Look at it... we ordered I think 6 or 7 dishes, one soup and ONE Plate of rice.. that plate is to be shared among the 3 of
us...hahaha...
but we still managed to finish the dishes...
all of them were very yummy... the assam fish , mango salad...chye poh egg omelette , etc.

Wah seh... by the nite time...my tummy abt the burst liao..
even the walk back to the hotel did not help..
I guess that is the punishment of being too greedy.... :(
Nevertheless, I am not upset abt it... This is my long awaited trip..
since Win & Ju have been yak yaking abt Malacca all these while..

The only disappointment is that i didnt manage to go to the fruit farm and eat my durians! :(

Never mind, there is still a nxt trip..haha...

Penang Redenvours

On 7th June, I set out to a long waited journey to the food of paradise.... PENANG!!

I have been hearing all sorts of who-ha on all the yummy food in Penang and Ipoh.. At last..I can make a trip down there and eat till my stomach burst. heehee...
The glutton in me at work again... ;p

Well, this is supposed to be a eating cum biz trip as I was supposed to be there for equipment inspection.

Okay..here comes the itinerary...

Day 1 - Woke up @ 445am to get ready to go to the airport. Damn sleepy siah...I was yawning and yawning away...cannot cannot...must wake up!! This is the beginning of my Journey to the Makan!
Airport was quite crowded, I guess shld be cos its sch holidays...so lots of ppl travelling..
Anyway, I got through the customs and stuff..time to board the plane..
I was so hungry...my stomach was growling along the flight. Some light snack was served but I decided to save my stomach for the Penang Char Kway Teow! Kekeke...

So when we arrive @ the Penang G Hotel... this is very near to the famous Gurney Drive...just beside it there is one hawker center. The rooms were not ready yet so we went to settle our lunch..We went to the shopping mall beside our hotel to settle for the food court.
Time is 11am and the food court is not ready yet~
Can u imagine..Sgp's foodcourt starts operations @ 10am.
Anyway, the food there is nice..I ate my first plate of Char Kway Teow...
Take note.."First " plate hor..

Heehee..Okay....filled my stomach..now is time to work..
We had arrangements to have dinner with one of the ex-collegs..whom coincidence is my ex-boss.

He brought to the local local hawker center. Just imagine the 70s or 80s singapore hawker centers by the roadside...
First course....Lok Lok...yum..the practice is you eat and move along...so we had some sticks of lok lok..then moved on to the Main course of the nite... Char Kway Teow, Wanton Mee, Stingray & Cheng Teng...
All are Yummy!!
Then we tabaoed some nonya kuehs back.. I was so full but when I saw the nonya kuehs..i cannot resist my temptation... ;pp

Morning breakfast..we went for Bak Ku Teh.. Imagine so early morning eat BKT.. but it was nice..different flavour from Sgp and KL.. Look at the pictures..I really couldnt eat..but die die have to try abit...

After gorging myself silly from last nite...I went for a swim..to kill off my guilt last nite and prepare myself for the Penang Laksa as promised by SJ... hiak hiak..

Our last stop..b4 heading off to the airport is Penang Laksa!!
It was nice...sour and small portion with lots of vege!! My boss loved it sooooo much..
but not SJ..cos he is a meat person..
we had Penang Rojak too..but it was so so...What I like is the "Hay Kor" It is sooo thick..
not like here where they add assam...there is the original..right out from the jar..

Wait wait....still got the Highlight of the trip....DURIAN!!!
Wah seh!! this is the best I have eaten....
Sitting under the tree and eating fresh durians...
Sedap!!!

Okie...Here is the end of my makan trip... Its a short but very satisfying trip..
Still got more stuff which i have not covered...waiting for me the nxt round.. :-)

Moving House

Having been working @ Suntec for 3 years,I have grown attached to this place.
Even though it is a long way to work for me everyday but I still like the convenience of this place.
Food and amenities are just a stone's throw away. The most important thing is....my GG5!!!

Thinking of not able to go shopping everyday or have the accessibility of supermkt, food court, karaoke, gym...u name it , Suntec has it. I used to take granted of all these but until we learned 2 weeks ago that we have to move to a ULU PANDAN place @ Tanjong Pagar... I suddenly find that Suntec is so good!

We went to rackie the new office last wednesday...OMG!!! Its so PATHETIC!!

1) NO VIEW
2) NO SHELTER FROM MRT + ITS NOT 5 MIN WALK FROM THE MRT STATION
(stupid CEO or HR must be flying when they said only 5 min walk away!!)
3) NO FOOD EXCEPT A WOK EXPRESS DOWNSTAIRS
4) NIGERIA HIGH COMMISSION IN THE SAME BUILDING.
(not that I am discriminating, but there will be lots of "unknown" ppl walking ard...

The lists goes on.... thinking of the office really depresses me... sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
How I wish we dont have to move....
What am I going to do when Sept comes..... HELP me!!!
We are going to be abandoned in a deserted island!! -.-

Our Secret Mission

Winnie & I had a secret mission... We went to JB to have our makeover photo shoot.
We took a bus from Woodlands Interchange to get to JB. Actually it is quite fast ...I think even faster than going by car. The troublesome part is to get on and off the bus when you reach the customs.

Once we reach JB, its MAKAN TIME!! haha... wah seh...look at the wanton mee....

Delicious rite? The noodles are so Q and serving just nice....look at the price...RM$3.00 ONLY!!
S$1.40!! DIRT CHEAP rite?!

Ok..aft the delicious breakfast...its on to the photo shoot. We had to choose 5 outfits...

We chose 2 wedding gowns, one evening , one Jap and I chose one traditional cheong sum.

The make up took q a long time...the makeup artist took a long time trying to put on the false lashes and do up double eyelids for me.

but I really looked different...finally can see my EYES!! ;)
but its very uncomfortable lor..

Photo shoots really not easy lor...Initial part q difficult..need to warm up so that I can start smiling like an idiot. heehee...

I didnt know the photos will turned out q well even though the poses that the photographer asked me to do were quite normal and boring.

Wah...we were super hungry half way through the photoshoot. Cos we didnt have time to go for lunch. We finished around 5pm and were super "urgent" and starving.

Guess what we had...heehee...yummy...
Maggi Mee Goreng, Chapati & Roti Prata!!
All for the price of RM$7!!

Miracle of Life

Have you ever wonder how God created people?
It is really a miracle how something so small can grow in 10 months to be a human being...

Look at the scanning....this little fellow is only 6 weeks old...you can't even see anything! But there is a heart beat... Its so sweet to see the heart beating... thump thump thump thump
Mother nature is so amazing...

Having a baby is a big responsibility. Both parties need to be mentally and physically prepared
Being a mother is not easy.... especially the initial part of the pregnancy. The mummy will be very tired in addition to the morning sickness..sometimes the sickness stays for the whole day!
I don't think you want to imagine the labour pain. Although the experience is a short one..but it is enough... may not have the experience in future....

In life, you cannot always get what you want. Sometimes due to some circumstances, you may have to forgo the thing that you have been praying for all these while. Perhaps God decide that the appearance and disappearance of this little fellow is to signify something. But why to me?
Because of one mistake, you have to suffer the guilt and remorse for the rest of your life.

This is one lesson that I will always remember...a very painful one too....

To beloved Jayden.....

Xiao Mei is that You??

A new start to a new year... See what I have done?
I cut the hair which I had for more than 5 years!

I didn't take a photo after my haircut ..this is one after I have done the corporate makeover.
Do I look like an Insurance Agent or Property agent? hahaha....
But at least better than one of my colleagues... The end result of his photo looks like those "chee kor peks" Another of my colleagues look like a big Tao Gey! Got the boss look, with his hair styled in the curry puff way.

I remember the last time I had such short hair, it was during my secondary school days.
I caused a commotion when I went back to the office after the hair cut.
hahaha...cos ppl were surprised to see me in short hair..but they liked my new hair style. ;)

Some colleagues were walking over to look at my hair. Wow...I felt like a super star that day...heehee...parading around and showing off my new hair style.

So far feedback was good...even my ah lao when he saw my hair after he came back from his detachment! Its a rare thing that he will comment something nice. His usual comments will be " Ok lar , So - so , not nice"

Let's see if I will go for a more funkier look towards the end of the year..... to be cont'd ;p

A Cold Cold Winter......

Hihi....

Guess where am I ?? Jingle Bell Jingle Bell.... Snow is falling down...

I'm in Korea!!! The first thing I stepped out of the tour coach was...WHAT the HELL...ITS DAMN &^R%#& COLD!!! It was -2 degrees lor...
My toes and fingers were freezing and almost numb despite the fact that I had gloves and wool socks.... Burrrrrrrrrrrrrr....I hate cold.....

Places where I went.... Da Chang Jin set studio..this was the first stop of my Korea tour. We took an overnight flight and reached there early morning... it was too early for our connecting flight to Jeju island...so we made a detour to the studio set .... I ate my first Dokkpoki there too! I saw it in Goong when Cai Jin always liked to eat with her girlfriends...It looked hot and spicy..but it fact it was not...

Next stop is Jeju island... we spent the first nite there... There was nothing much to shop there..but I tasted my first Korean lor Di there...YUM YUM!!

They even had samples for you to taste...I went bersek over there...heehee...;p

Our first Korean Dinner was also an advanture... we were walking up and down the streets..trying to figure out which shop sells "edible" stuff...those which we can figure and know what is it...We walked at least 3 times up down the street ..but couldnt find a shop that had pictures like noodles or rice where we can point and order. All the menus are in Korean..and I am totally lost... Finally decided in one small little shop beside a Karaoke... there were pictures of ramen ...and that was what we ordered... tasted like instant noodles...shld have bought instand cup noodles and ate . -_-

Nxt day we went mountain climbing...it was very windy...and a long climb up man!

But the scenery was very beautiful...we could see the whole of Jeju Island.

Nxt we went to see Teddy Bear Museum.... Haha..this is also another of my long waited upon destination. I had seen it in Goong...and all the teddy bears were so cute in the drama..
A pity was I couldn't buy Alfred...cos it was too ex... :(

Back to Seoul...we went up the mountains for Skiing! Hiak hiak..first lesson in skiing...

It was fun..but tedious learning process...first was the gear...the boots and board were very heavy...after wearing the boots..I was walking like Mr Mashmallow Man in GhostBuster....haha.

I admit I am not a natural in sports..so aft a few attempts where I "lang ga" into ppl...I gave up.. played with snow and look at ppl snow...hee...

After spending a nite @ the ski resort...we slept on the traditional Korean "kang"..which is on the floor..with mattress... Wah seh...couldnt zzz the whole nite man!! the floor and pillow were so hard...I really miss bed and mattress..

After saying bye bye to the Ski resort...we made our way down to Everland... Along the way...it starting snowing..... we were all going gaga over the snow...hee...moutain turtle ah..

Everland was fun.. but we didnt have time to take all the rides...Comparing Everland and Lotte World ( which we went later) I still think that Disney or Universal Studio Theme Parks are much better...in terms of the rides and attractions...

8 days in Korea....I think I had the most healthy meals of my life...Vege and vege every meal!

Not that I dont like vege...but it was like ..bean sprouts ,kimchi for every meal...

I am beginning to get sick of bean sprouts.... I am longing for sambal chilli and curry...wow....Prata here I come... slurrrrrrrrrrrrppppppppppppp

Hmmm............looking back...I think I will still want to go back to Korea..perhaps in another season...Autumn ....where the leaves turn orange...I think it will even be more beautiful...

Nxt yr perhaps ba.... Ahh....I still have lots of places to go leh...Japan.... Taiwan...HK...

haha....$$ not enough ah...

Another Great Accomplishment for 2006!!!

Yo YO!! See this ...see this...what is this?? Haha....some of you may not have it.. some of you may have lots of it...but this is my one and only PRECIOUS one....

MY STANDARD CHARTERED MARATHON 10KM RUN MEDAL!!!!

You must be thinkg....CHEY! what's so great abt this medal rite?

Hey!!!This means alot to me...cos this is the first time I ran such a long distance ....Ppl who know me will know that I HATE running...so to run 10KM is really a BIG thing for me...not to mention that I did not really train for this ....I only ran abt 20min everytime I hit the treadmill.

This time, I managed to run non-stop...only a few times for water stops...other than that....I did not even rest wor......so am I good a not? heehee..

Actually I need to thank my fellow runner and motivator...Winnie...without her giving me motivation..I would not have completed this run.. Thanks WInnie!!

Initially my target is to run 5km and walk and run for the rest of the journey....but seeing Winnie pushing herself through also gave me the drive to push through the rest of the journey.

Sooooooooooo..............with this ....I managed to complete my first 10km !!

So far...the furtherest I had ran is 2.4km..which had been 10 over years since my last fitness test....haha.... not bad for a first timer...

So...Another of my colleague...Ah Huang...was also a inspirator...he was the one who kept jioing us to go for the run...

So nxt yr...We shall continue ......perhaps build up the team.....anybody interested?

One disappointed thing is ..my ah lao did not really support me... he didnt seem interested in my medal or wanna hear my story of how I completed the run.....but nevermind...I still have my frens...who were happy for me... ;P

Moshi Moshi...Watashi Wa Jasmine Desu ; )

Ms Japan...

Do I look like a typical Korean/Japanese lady with this new hairdo? Hahaha...Winnie & I discovered a new way to bun up our hair using a "chopstick". Apparently , this is what Korean women do with their hair. Cool rite? This new thingy on my head is the latest hair accessory in Korea. There is even a clip at the bottom of the chain. Makes me feel like the olden days princess... "Bi Goon Ma Ma"
Yucks!! Buay Hiao Bai.... ;p

Not losing out to the girls and aunties who are going ga ga over Korean dramas and Korean actors & actresses....I am also one of the victim of their spell....
Here is my fav idol RAIN!!! Look at his smile and body....Everytime I look at his physic..I go slurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrpppppppppppppp

Guess what ...I am back to my secondary days where I go crazy over an idol...I have his face as my wall paper in my laptop and mobile...then his photos are in front of me...smiling @ me when I work....Ohhhh Ahhh....his is my motivation man....hiakhiak....
Xiao rite?

Now we have a mini fan club... We are going to watch Rain's first concert in Singapore!! So exciting!! hee...

My 28th Birthday.......

The 2 Chio Birthday Chicks

Today is 16 November 2006, I was born 28 years ago...

I was prepared for a surprise when I woke up in the morning because normally my ah lao will put my present somewhere catchy when I wake up...either in the bathroom which is the first place I will go when I wake up or like last year....He put my pooh bear bobble-head in the shoe cabinet!
He is always full of surprises.... Even though he is not the expressive type but sometimes the things that he does really melts my heart... ;)

But this morning, there was nothing waiting for me ....cos he was still at work when I woke up. So as usual , I went for my body combat class @ the gym.

The first present is from dearest mummy....See what she got for me...Want me to be mei mei and young ...haha...Bird's NeSt! I have been craving for this for a long time but don't have the heart to buy it cos its TOO EX!!! My Mi as usual pamper me lar......谢谢你,妈咪 !!!

The day still goes on.....I was really eagerly expecting some flowers or presents from my frens n colleagues. Heehee...
The first present I got is from my fellow comrade..Winnie...Her birthday is only a day earlier than mine.
Then I got another one from my kakis downstairs...so sweet of them...

Ok...then comes my first bouquet of flowers...its from Rakzi...I really like the 2 bears...she knows that I like soft toys..hee...cos my cubicle is full of them!

Nxt is one which I never expected...its from one of my boyfriends....hahahaha....
Wah...this xiao za bor suddenly so popular ah.... but I like...there are so many little bears...
each bear has a different color tie! I didn't even notice until Rakzi pointed out to me!
See...so blur....SOTONG!!

Now is time for lunch.... Winnie & I were meeting Ms Tham & Mummy for lunch... We went to check out this place @ Raffles MarketPlace...The place serves fusion food...
They really do have a special welcome for us man...Guess how? By throwing plates on the floor!
hahaa....good ah... Welcome birthday girls!

Aiyoooo...lunch was so full...initially wanted to leave some space for dessert tapas but cos of the free food that we had..no space liao ah.... -_-
Wanna know why we had free food? abit disgusting lar...but we found some hair (curly!!) in the salad that we ordered! so the manager gave us complementary softshell crab and some bread for the spicy mussels soup. Overall the food is nice... Look at pictures and you will know what I mean.

Thanks Ms Tham & Mummy for the scrumptious lunch + the tea pot set ...now we can have our own yum char in the office!!

2day is really not a day for work lar...no mood...have been counting down the time to knock off...
Guess what surprise my Dar got for me??
Walked into the room and saw a bed full of balloons and in the middle of them is a bouquet of roses...so SWEet.... I was so very touched.... then below the flowers was my present.

Dinner was at La Cantina , our dinner was outside...The view would be good expect it was too dark to see anything... The food was not bad..except the squid ink pasta was a bit sourish..

Ok...my bird day is more or less over.....more juciy details cannot be shared...only to be remembered by me.... ;p
But this year's birthday is really special.....
